Mad Tea Party Time

Comparing the book with the clip or even movie makes me think of how did I think the environment and the characters would look like in "real life." The adventures we've been reading are crazy and we all know that. We can't never predict what's coming next. Crazy creatures and different places come and go the same way that Alice grows and shrinks with no order or coherence. While I was reading the book I never pictured the Hatter being such a bizarre creature. I knew that in the movie  Johnny Depp was the Hatter. I see that Tim Burton had to make it kind of more commercial and interesting so people would watch it, but made it look too sinister at times. Even the Dormouse, that's falling asleep every minute in the book, doesn't feel tired at all in the clip. He seems really energetic and awake, instead. Alice was also really welcome at the tea party which differs from the book where they didn't make her feel welcome even for minute. A production like ...

Who Are You?

So here I am, smoking my hookah at the top of this mushroom when this girl comes to me, but she doesn't really know who she is...I thought that was weird! After that she just started talking to me like I knew her or knew why she couldn't remember who she was... There we were trying to have a conversation, but how am I supposed to talk to someone that doesn't even know   who she is?She kept repeating herself about not remembering things she did before. What I could notice was her temper! I wasn't not about to deal with that, so I decided to leave after she asked me who I was... She was a little bit rude to me, so I just gave her an advice. You should keep you temper- I told her. I also thought another good advice would be telling her about the sides of the mushroom. I hope she finds her way and who she is as well... There is something wrong with this little girl, so I'm just going to enjoy my hookah and the view!

Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll is the famous name for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. He was born on 27 January 1832. Charles was the English author that wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865); He was also a mathematician. He was about six foot tall, slender and handsome. He guarded his privacy while he was alive. After he died much of his papers were destroyed, according to his biography. The most interesting and curious fact I found out about him is how people judged him because of his stories. Many people suspected and myths were created about him. People speculated about what kind of a man he was including drugs abuser, socially inept and unhealthy interest in children. He has the most popular stories for kids, he didn't just write really original fiction, but he also wrote essays and political pampleths, short stories, and mathematical textbooks too. Lewis Carroll was a really successful author. He died at the age of 65 on 14 January 1898 at his sisters’ home. http://www.onl...

What is your favorite book? When did you encounter it? Why is it important to you?

Hello everyone! I am not a book expert, It would be better if I said I am actually really far from it. My brother says that I am terrible book reader. I start lots of books, but I feel like I can't never finish the really long ones. I need to get better at it, definitely. My brother reads all kinds of books, and he always tells me which ones I should read or not. I would say my favorite books  are Eat, Pray and Love, The Harry Potter series and The Shack. They are all very important to me because they all helped me discovering very interesting things about real life, even if the book is a fiction, we can always relate to our own lives. Things I never thought I would read about. They were big surprises for me. It just amazes me how people's imagination can go so far and create perfect stories that we all wish it was true. The best part is that I love talking about them to my little brother. He is really smart and always knows every little detail. I need to read more, any sugg...
