Lewis Carroll is the famous name for Charles Lutwidge Dodgson. He was born on 27 January 1832. Charles was the English author that wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865); He was also a mathematician. He was about six foot tall, slender and handsome. He guarded his privacy while he was alive. After he died much of his papers were destroyed, according to his biography.
The most interesting and curious fact I found out about him is how people judged him because of his stories. Many people suspected and myths were created about him. People speculated about what kind of a man he was including drugs abuser, socially inept and unhealthy interest in children. He has the most popular stories for kids, he didn't just write really original fiction, but he also wrote essays and political pampleths, short stories, and mathematical textbooks too.
Lewis Carroll was a really successful author. He died at the age of 65 on 14 January 1898 at his sisters’ home.
